Mollart Cox was incorporated initially as a precision deep hole drilling, boring & gun drilling company. Having progressed our capacity to offer the full machined solution, deep hole drilling and boring is still a huge part of the business.
Gun Drilling
Mollart Cox is the only company in the UK to Gun drill holes from 1.8mm up to 40mm dia at lengths up to 6000mm. Gun drilling machines – 6, Bore sizes available from 1.8mm – 40mm dia, Shortest length is 20mm up to 6000mm
5-Axis Machining
We have invested in 5 Mazak machines since 2013 and the collection is continually growing. Here at Mollart Cox we can mill various shapes and sizes up to 10 tonnes. We can create all different shapes and are also able to offer tapping.
CNC Turning
Our CNC machining capabilities are key to developing future customers. We have a large amount of CNC machining available at our 2 sites in Chesterfield.
CAD/CAM
Mollart Cox Engineering uses the latest software from Solid Works and Delcam and is currently running: SOLIDWORKS Professional 2017 DELCAM for SOLIDWORKS
